About Us
Palmetto Goodwill is a nonprofit social service organization serving the community by providing employment services, job training, and other employment related programs to people with barriers to employment.
Goodwill relies on the support of the community through the donation of gently used items to fund its mission of helping people achieve their full potential through the dignity and power of work. As good stewards of these donations, over 90 percent of Goodwill?s revenue from the sale of donations goes to fund mission related services.
Goodwill Industries helps people in our community
Goodwill Industries provides free employment services to individuals seeking a new job or career change. Job seekers can access the following resources at any of Goodwill?s 14 Job Link Centers.
? Computers to search online job listings
? Resource manuals with referral agency information
? Qualified staff to assist people with disabilities and other barriers as well as homeless veterans and displaced workers
? Pre-employment training where individuals receive training on soft-skills such as interview tips, dress for success classes and resume building.
