In our September HR meeting, our speaker will focus on current workplace trends, specifically addressing challenges such as recruiting and retaining employees. The discussion will explore HR best practices/lessons learned.  How are people coping with the current labor market landscape?  What are employers doing right and sometimes wrong when navigating recruiting and retention? This follows our previous meeting in August on employment and labor law, where we laid the groundwork for understanding the legal aspects of managing a workforce. This session will build on that by examining the practical impacts on employee well-being and organizational health.
 

Danielle Shroyer has 25 years of experience working mainly for Fortune 500 companies, including Lockheed Martin and General Dynamics. Most recently, she was the Talent Acquisition Leader for the Volvo Car manufacturing facility in Ridgeville, South Carolina. While there, she and her team scaled the business from 45 to 1500 employees.  Danielle is also a Certified DiSC Practitioner who enhances the strength of leaders and teams through the DiSC Methodology.
