Leadership Berkeley Class Partners with Unity Bay for November Supply Drive

(Berkeley County, SC) – The Berkeley Chamber of Commerce is excited to share that this year’s Leadership Berkeley class has decided to partner with Unity Bay for this year’s Supply Drive, running November 1–30, 2024. This collaboration will support over 250 adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities served by Unity Bay through Berkeley Industries and other programs.
The Leadership Berkeley class is lending its energy and expertise to promote the collection of essential items that empower individuals in our community to live more independently.
Supplies Needed:

• Toothpaste & toothbrush
• Shampoo, soap, deodorant, and powder
• Chapstick and small fidget toys
• Comb/brush

 
Donation Drop-Off Locations:

• Moncks Corner Police Department
• Berkeley Electric Cooperative – Moncks Corner Office
• Hood Packaging
• Lowcountry Conference Center

 
These contributions will bolster Unity Bay’s vital services, including adult day programs, residential care, and skill-building opportunities.
This partnership reflects Leadership Berkeley’s commitment to community enrichment and highlights the impact of local business leaders coming together to make a difference.
In addition to donating supplies, the community is encouraged to support Unity Bay’s Building Renovation Fund to enhance facilities for program participants.
